Цим листом висловлюємо сердечну вдячність за ті несподівані подарунки, які ми отримали від різних вальдорфських та антропософських ініціатив світу. Ваша фінансова допомога дає можливість команді «Борисфена» триматися разом, проводити дистанційно заняття для наших учнів.

Така допомога світу сприймається нами як віра в наші педагогічні сили й перемогу України у війні з агресором. З вірою будуємо плани про відновлення нашої живої роботи із учнями та ученицями.


Загальний огляд нашої ситуації
Наша громадська школа всі процеси організму веде самостійно. Це означає, що ми маємо досить великий штат працівників, крім вчителів: адміністратори, бухгалтер, господарські працівники. Усі ці люди ретельно підбиралися під шкільну команду і ставали частиною нашої громади. Майже всі вони залучені до волонтерства у школі, бо батьки не спроможні оплатити всю діяльність школи і є частина обов'язків, яку команда працівників розподілили між собою і регулярно їх виконують.

Тому ми хочемо максимально зберегти команду, у якій є не лише вчителі.

Також ми маємо зобов'язання зі сплати орендної плати, які тимчасово до травня були призупинені, але з травня ми знову маємо здійснювати виплати. Зараз ми займаємося пошуком коштів на ці виплати і ведемо перемовини, щоб зі ста відсотків оплати нам дали знижку, і ми сплачували 20% від загальної суми до вересня з надією на те, що у вересні родини зможуть повернутися до Києва. Садок із квітня сплачує 35% орендної вартості.

Оскільки ми не виробляємо економічні блага і не творимо кров економіки, то дуже залежимо від вливання крові ззовні. На даний час наші шкільні родини є дуже знекровленими. Тому братерство світу – це запорука нашого життя.

Наше сьогодення
Майже 95% наших шкільних родин виїхали за межі Київської області. 60% наших учнів зараз виїхали за межі країни, більшість із них навчаються в тих країнах. Майже всі учні є на регулярному зв'язку з нашими вчителями. Початкові класи мають бесіди, слухають історії, малюють до них малюнки зі своїми основними вчителями. У середніх-старших класах є щоденні заняття протягом тижня (математика, література, історія, англійська та українська мови).

Колегія вчителів має щотижневі зустрічі (читаємо лекції Штайнера, обговорюємо нашу ситуацію, стан, заняття з учнями).

Стан вчителів, батьків, дітей
Наша школа розташована поряд із фронтом (10 км), де в лютому-березні відбувалися дуже жорстокі бої. Ми з вчителями щовечора молилися за цілісність нашої шкільної домівки, бо поряд із нею було декілька авіаударів.

Усі наші родини живуть доволі близько до лінії фронту, яка тут проходила до кінця березня, або й, взагалі, мають житла в самому епіцентрі воєнних подій.

На наш превеликий жаль, уже три наші шкільні родини повністю втратили свої домівки. Діти тяжко переживають втрату родинного гнізда та всіх дорогих і любих серцю речей.

У вчителів та батьків є розгубленість, очікування завершення війни і страх повертатися додому, бо є постійна загроза авіаударів.

Через це дуже складно будувати плани майбутнього життя. Різні фахівці, на думки яких можна було б зважати, також губляться у прогнозах на майбутні півроку-рік.

Це залишає нас оголеними перед майбутнім. Сильні духом мають віру, що Україна переможе у війні. Цією вірою ми зараз гуртуємося і підтримуємо один одного.

Діти травмуються через таку розгубленість й часом безпомічність дорослих. Вони бачать сльози, крики, панічні атаки, апатію, депресію своїх батьків. Відсутність доходів, через втрату роботи своїх батьків, розлуку з татусями, втрату рідного дому на невизначений час.

Навіть ті діти, яких вивезли із зони бойових дій у перший тиждень, переживають травму війною.

Наші плани
Спостерігаючи те, у чому знаходяться наші учні, наш колектив прийняв рішення організувати терапевтичний табір для наших учнів у липні 2022 у Карпатах. Зараз ми почали роботу в цьому напрямку.

• Ми маємо приміщення, яке можна орендувати на місяць.
• Ми маємо команду вчителів та адміністраторів.
• Створюємо план терапевтичних групових та індивідуальних занять.
• Розпочали пошук коштів для табору і маємо вже перші надходження.

Вересень 2022
Якщо в Україні зменшиться/зникне загроза авіаударів, буде скасовано воєнний стан, хоча б на частині території (включно з Київською областю), то ми плануємо відновити нашу діяльність повністю.

Віримо у підтримку вищих сил нашої ініціативи та всієї України. Віримо у братерство світу, яке зараз так потужно згуртувалося довкола України!

With this letter we express heartfelt appreciation for those unexpected gifts, which we recieved from different waldorf and anthroposophical initiatives from around the world. Your financial help gives our team "Borysfen" an opportunity to hold together and conduct remote lessons for our students.

Such world's help is perceived by us as faith in our pedagogical power and Ukraine's victory in the war against the aggressor. With faith we're building plans about restoration of our live work with students.

General overview of our current situation
Our community-based school conducts all of its processes independently. It means that we have quite a large staff besides teachers: administrators, accountant, and household personnel. All of these people were carefully chosen and invited to compile our school's team and have become a part of it. Almost all of them are involved in volunteering in school, because parents aren't able to pay for all school activities and there is a part of responsibilities which team of workers distributed between themselves.

That's why we want to save our team to the fullest extent possible.

We also have rental obligations, which temporarily until May were canceled, but in June we have to pay them again. Currently we are looking for funds for these payments as well as negotiating with the landlord to get a discount and to pay at least 20% of the full rent prize. We hope that by the end of summer our school families would be able to return to Kyiv and to keep studying there.

Since we are not producing any goods now, we are out of our Ukrainian economic "circulatory" system and we depend upon our school families' payments. But at the same time our school families are financially exhausted as well. That is why the brotherhood of the whole world - is the key to our lives.

Our present
Almost 95% of our school's families left the Kyiv region. 60% of our students left the country and most of them study from there. Almost all students are on a regular communication with our teachers. Elementary classes have conversations, listen to stories, drawing illustrations to them with their main teachers. In secondary and high school there are everyday lessons during the week (Maths, Literature, History, English and Ukrainian languages).

The college of teachers has weekly meetups (reading Steiner's lectures, discussing our situation, lessons with students).

The state of teachers, parents, children
Our school is located near frontline (10 km), where absolutely violent fights happened in February and March. All teachers prayed for integrity of the school building, because there were a few air strikes nearby.

All of our families live relatively close to the frontline, which was here up to the end of March, or even have houses right in the center of military events.

Sadly, already three of our school's families completely lost their homes. Kids are experiencing especially rough loss of their family nest and all of their dear and beloved things.

Teachers and parents are perplexed, anticipation of the end of the war and fear of returning home, because there is always a threat of air strikes.

Because of the above mentioned it is a hard task to plan our future life. Different war experts don't also give certain forecasts as to the future of our country at least for a year or a half.

We remain defenseless in front of future. Strong in our spirit we believe that Ukraine will gain the victory in this war. This faith unites us and helps us to support each other.

Kids are getting traumatized because of this confusion and sometimes helplessness of adults. They see tears, screams, panic attacks, apathy and depression from their parents. Absence of income, separation from dads and loss of home for an indefinite period.

Even those kids, who were taken out from military zone in the first week, are experiencing war trauma.

Our plans
Observing what our students are in, our team made a decision to organize a therapeutic camp for our students in July 2022 in the Carpathians provided that the threat of air strikes will be reduced by that time.

Currently we are working towards the following things:

• there is a building that can be rented for a month;
• the team of teachers and administrators;
• we are creating a plan of a therapeutic group and individual classes;
• we began searching for funds for the camp.

September 2022
If in Ukraine threat of air strikes is reduced, the martial law canceled at least partially (including Kyiv region), we plan to resume our activity completely.
We believe in support of higher powers of our initiative and Ukraine.
We believe in brotherhood of light powerfully united around Ukraine!
